Imperial College, London has ordered an SPM1 Minimak

Imperial College, London has ordered an SPM1 Minimak .It will be installed at the Blackett laboratory and be used for student teaching and research.

The Blackett Laboratory houses the Department of Physics at Imperial College London. Located on the South Kensington campus at the corner of Prince Consort Road and Queen's Gate, it is an internationally recognized historic site for physics research.

This installation together with a planned install at the ICTP , Trieste by the end of 2026 will act as a plasma physics development hub for the Minimak project and further performance upgrades that are planned during 2027.
